Anyone entering/returning to Japan is highly recommended to complete “Fast Track” within two weeks of their scheduled entry date to Japan. “Fast Track” is a system that allows you to register your certificates/documents for entry procedures and have them reviewed in advance, reducing time spent in the airport after arrival.

A nursery staff will be dispatched according to the advance application, and labor costs will be incurred. Please pay the full amount for the reservation even if you do not actually use it for both one-day and hourly uses. In addition, if you use the service for an extended period of time, such as when the pick-up is delayed due to unavoidable circumstances, please pay the additional usage fee.
We are currently contemplating covering a portion of the daycare service costs with the symposium budget. We apologize for any inconveniences caused to daycare service users, and humbly ask for your understanding and cooperation in operating with a limited budget.
A nursing room is available for use. The room does not require prior application, and its location may be inquired at the main reception desk.
Please check before departure that there is sufficient time remaining until the expiration date of your passport. During your trip, have your passport with you at all times. You may be asked to present it for identification.
As of October 11, 2022, entry requirements for foreign nationals have been lifted. Check whether you need a visa or not in order to travel from your country to Japan (Okinawa).

We recommend taking out travel insurance before your trip, in case you come across troubles during your time here. Hospital visits and other emergency services can be very costly, so insurance is a wise precaution. The currency in Japan is Japanese yen. You will need to make a declaration in order to bring in cash worth more than 1 million Japanese yen. It is important to understand that small shops might not accept credit cards, so please prepare an adequate amount of cash at the airport, or use currency exchange booths at different locations in the prefecture.

Although quite rare, 2,000 yen bills are sometimes used.
When you bring electronic equipment that need to be plugged in, make sure they are compatible with Japanese voltage and electrical sockets.
Japanese electricity plugs are A type. The voltage is 100V, and the frequency is 60Hz. Please come prepared with a transformer or use products that are compatible with Japanese voltage.
Public transportations such as monorail, buses, and taxis are the main transportation in the main island of Okinawa.

Taxis that will take you to your destination smoothly. Okinawa taxis are cheaper compared to ones in mainland Japan and you can ride in groups to make it even cheaper, which is one of the mostly used way of transportation in Okinawa.
