What is the Okinawa Konwakai (committee)?

Okinawa Konwakai (committee) was established in 1990 to be a place of cooperation and cultural exchange of the economical people of Okinawa and mainland Japan, aiming to contribute more to the economy and culture of Okinawa. It is currently made up of 35, mainly large corporations from Okinawa and 44 listed major companies from mainland Japan.
