WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the members of local organizing committee and as the committee chairman, I would like to cordially welcome you all to the International Conference on Electrical Engineering 2016 (ICEE2016) to be held at Okinawa Jichikaikan on 3rd to 7th July, 2016. The theme of the conference is "Future Technology for Bridging Nations".

Okinawa consists of semitropical and resort islands which are located in the southwest part of Japan, and has blue sea and blue sky. It is also very close to Korea, China, and Hong Kong. You should be enjoyed not only the conference but also the subtropical resort atmosphere of Okinawa. Historically, Okinawa was used to be an independent country called the Ryukyu Kingdom, and strived to promote cultural exchange through trades with China, Japan main land, and the southwest Asian countries, without any military force pressures. As the symbol of this Ryukyu Kingdom's peaceful policy, the kanji character phrase "万国津梁 (Bankoku Shinryou)" were carved on the Kingdom's large noble bell at the Shuri Castle. This "Bankoku Shinryou" means "Bridge between Nations". Adopting "Future Technology for Bridging Nations" as the main theme of this conference, we would like to start to call for papers to the conference.

Since the exchanging the products, technologies, and also peoples among the nations will be enhanced much more than ever, the important role of "Bridge between Nations" will be emphasized. In this meaning, I believe ICEE2016 with the theme "Future Technology for Bridging Nations" will be truly timely one.

From my heart, I am looking forward to having a great number of participants to ICEE2016, Okinawa.

Sincerely,
Eiji Kaneko, LOC Chairman of ICEE205
